Charlotte Dujardin becomes most successful British female Olympian of all time

Charlotte Dujardin managed to ride to bronze in the individual dressage final today, making her the most successful Olympic British athlete ever. She has a total of six medals behind her name (three gold, one silver and two bronze). In doing so, she does better than Katherine Grainger, a rower, who has five medals behind her name.

"I can honestly say that I am extremely proud of myself," Dujardin told Horse & Hound. "I knew that in the ring I wanted to give everything but at the same time I wanted to enjoy myself and I did. Gio gave everything and in my eyes he is a real winner," she concluded.
