This week some of the top riders are in tention as the upcoming deadline to determine the individual show jumping qualifications for the Rio 1026 Olympics looms just days away. On Sunday, March 6th a total of 15 athletes will be given a chance for Olympic glory in August.   So far 15 countries have qualified for the Olympic Games in August 2016. Brazil, the Netherlands France, United States, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Spain, Canada, Argentina, Qatar, Ukraine, Japan, and Australia have a qualified team of 4 riders. 15 entries remain available to the National Olympic Committee. These 15 will qualify for a team quota place with a team consisting of a minimum of 3 athletes/horses and maximum of 4 athletes/horses, according to the FEI. Olympic individual qualification rankings are divided into seven groups: Group A (Northwestern Europe), Group B (Southwestern Europe), Group C (Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia), Group D (North America), Group E (South and Central America), Group F (Africa and Middle East), and Group G (Southeast Asia, Oceania). olympic
