Caroline Dijck-Smolders and Harrie Smolders have announced the passing of their father, Toon Smolders (81), on social media. "The passion, his expertise, and horsemanship... we will never forget them!" it reads.
"The conversations, the passion, horsemanship, and his sayings we will never forget. He will live on in our thoughts. My father was one of the fortunate ones to reach a blessed age of 81 years. He remains my inspiration," writes Harrie Smolders in an open letter.
