On March 6, the young German showjumper Madlen Boy passed away at just 19 years old. This was announced by the Oldenburger Verband. The rider died after a fall during training.
In 2020, the German rider was included in the German Junior Development Squad. Together with her mare, Charlet Blue, she achieved several victories. The pair won the Grand Prix of the Verdener Jugend-Challenge in 2021. In 2022, they secured ninth place in the junior category at the German Youth Championships. In 2023, Madlen and Charlet Blue continued their sporting success in the national squad, reaching the final of the DJM and finishing fourth at the Aachen Youngstars in the S-class showjumping competition with a jump-off.
