Today the new JumpingClash format was put to the ultimate test as the Finals passed on in Madrid. In the Quarter finals the best eight combinations of the past days battled it out against each other, qualifying for the ultimate final jump-off. In the first round Beat Mändli and the 8-year-old Dsarie (by Veron) cleared the course, leaving Jerome Guery and the 11-year-old Casall-son, Alicante strandded in the first round. Markus Beerbaum - who earlier today already won the 1.45m class - won his first battle aboard Tequila de Lile (by Luccianno) from Luis Sabino Goncalves (Acheo di San Patrignano). Lillie Keenan and her 10-year-old KWPN-horse Be Gentle left their compatriots  Emily Moffitt (Harriri, by Nabab de Rêve) in the first round. The final battle was between Jessica Mendoza (Constance) and Teresa Blazquez-Abascal (Carola). The latter made it through to the second round. Eventually the final jump-off was battled between USA's Lillie Keenan with her Ticallux Verte-daughter and Beat Mändli with his 8-years-old KWPN-mare. Markus Beerbaum placed third followed by Teresa Bazquez-Abascal.   Mändli was the first to go in in the ultimate jump-off. The Swiss show jumper set yet another clear round finishing in 40.73 seconds. Putting the pressure on Keenan. She and Be Gentle took of very fast, but jumped one rail down, on which they started a more controlled ride.
