2015 Sacramento International Horse Show Wows Crowd and Competitors

The eighth anniversary of the Sacramento International Horse Show represented how far this show has come in just eight short years. Sell-out crowds packed the Murieta Equestrian Center's Indoor Arena to watch elite riders and horses compete head to head for a chance to improve their standings and qualify for the FEI World Cup™, held in Sweden in March 2016. World class riders including Richard Spooner, Will Simpson, Quentin Judge, Mandy Porter, Eric Navet, Jill Humphrey, Eduardo Menezes, Ben Asselin, Samuel Parot and many more made Sacramento their destination in September, competing in the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League Qualifier as well as the Grand Prix Qualifier and the Lasher's Elk Grove Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ride and Drive, Presented by The Chronicle of the Horse. Sacramento International Highlights: In the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Sacramento, Presented by Lasher's Elk Grove Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, Samuel Parot was victorious aboard Atlantis, Quentin Judge followed closely to take second on HH Copin van de Broy and Eric Navet riding Jonkheer Z took home the third place award.   The Lasher's Elk Grove Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ride and Drive, Presented by The Chronicle of the Horse, saw Jeff Fields and the aptly named Lady Mercedes take first, and Kelly Mcknight and Zan Chin were the second-place finishers in this crowd-pleasing event. Earlier in the week, in the $35,000 Grand Prix Qualifier, Samuel Parot took first and second, aboard Atlantis and Couscous Vanorti respectively, with Richard Fellers and Flexible coming in third.
