At the international competition in Basel yesterday's biggest class went to Belgium's Gregory Wathelet riding Conrad.  Compatriot Pieter Devos followed on a second place, securing two Belgians on stage in this class. Aboard his nine year old Con Air -Son, Conrad, Wathelet went as first in both rounds. The pair set the time and unbeatable score at 34.45 seconds. Pieter Devos aboard Dream of India Greenfield (Gem of India x Night and Day), with a difference of 0.42 seconds. Denis Lynch and All Star completed the stage. It was no easy task the riders were served, as the 1.55 track consisting of twelve fences that included three combinations was both big and wide with the fences coming quickly out of the corners and turns. Still, eleven clears were ridden and three of them were from Swiss riders – much to the appreciation of a fully packed St. Jacobshalle. click here for the full results
