Over 500 horses are taking the start in Lier this weekend. For this international CSI2* the Longines Ranking and Grand Prix-Qualifier was split in two and set at a height of 1.40m. In the first part it was Brasil's Pedro Junqueira Muylaert who jumped to victory aboard the 10-year-old Cellagon Corray (by Caretino). The pair speeded to the win in 35.95 seconds, leaving behind Denmark's Belinda Barker Rikke with the 14-year-old Cellagon Corray (by Caretino). The Danish pair stopped the clock in 36.88 seconds and was followed by Belgium's Jan Motmans.   The Belgian show jumping rider and his Accardi-zon, Aikido Z crossed the finish clear in 37.72 seconds. The top five was completed by Petronella Andersson with Burburry R (by Pacific) in fourth and Dutch Lisa Nooren with Hocus Pocus de Muze (by Tinka's Boy) in fifth. The second part - the price Equnews - was no match for Egypt's Abdel Said. Said left his rivals behind with under the saddle Beauminka (by Jodokus). The pair stopped the timer in 34.32 seconds. Home-rider, Mathias Hazebroek followed as runner-up with his trusted Toulon-son, Jurre. Compatriot Christophe Vanderhasselt followed in a third spot aboard Caroline T. Z (by Contendro). The top five was completed by Patrick Lemmen (Dadullah) and Pascale Lombard (Spartacus) in a fourth and fifth place.   Click here for the results
