Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Al Sharbatly won the CSI3* World Cup staged in Riyadh this weekend. The win came aboard Domingo (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Brownboy) after a double clear round - which was the only one in the class. Out of the 19 riders competing in the ninth Arab League World Cup qualifier, only three were able to clear the first round to move on to the jump-off. Al Sharbatly's compatriot Kamal Bahamdan had a time almost two seconds faster, but recorded four faults against the clock on Noblesse Des Tess (Cumano x Irak E). Qatari rider Faleh Al-Ajami on Come Soon  (Come on x Landfriese II) finished third, also he with four faults in the jump-off. “I won this Grand Prix a year ago and I was doing my very best to earn the title once more, I can honestly say that my horse Domingo has helped me to win it," said Al Sharbatly after his win.
