Fourty riders started in the World Cup tonight. The course was selective enough, the mistakes were mainly made on the last line: a triple combination (with a triple bar and two verticals), and a large oxer to finish. Six Belgians qualified for a thrilling jump off. The victory was for Christian Ahlmann and Taloubet Z, the third World Cup victory of the season. 15 year old Taloubet Z and Christian are a super combination that can do just that little bit more than the rest.  Ahlmann was already in the lead in the Western European Ligue and stays put with 77 points. Niels Bruynseels and his 9 year old Cas de Liberté rode a magnificent round in 39.37 sec.: "Cas de Liberté is in super shape. He won the Grand Prox 3* Liège last autumn and obtained the fourth place at the CSI5* of La Coruna. He is very competitive horse that proves to be able to take the highest level!" Jérôme Guéry obtained the third place with Papillon Z, Jos Verlooy took the fourth place with Sunshine. Jos Verlooy is currently in the third position on the World Cup ranking with 50 points.
