Alex Granato and Taylor Alexandra on top at Tryon

At the Tryon Equestrian Center in Florida, the riders were set for an other day of show jumping action. In the 1.45m Open Jumper Classic a total of 44 combinations took the start. Alex Granato and the Phin Phin-gelding, Criss Cross jumped to victory after a clear jump-off in 36.433 seconds. In total seven combinations returned for the second round. Emanuel Andrade and Cortina 186 (by Contedro II) didn't have any problem with the Canadian build track. The pair crossed the finish in 37.256 seconds, placing as runner-up. The stage was completed by Adrienne Sternlicht and Raia D'Helby (by Chapultepec la Silla). The top five continued with Sarah Segal (Cantara 59) in a fourth place and Laura Kraut with Bialda placing fifth. Only the top four produced a double clear round. Also the yought showed their worth at Tryon. In the 1.40m Welcome Classic CSI U25 Belgian Warmblood horse Gipsy King (by Wandor van de Mispelaere) jumped to victory with Taylor Alexander. The Belgian bred horse was recently sold to Alexander's trainer, Laura Kraut. The pair stopped the clock in 35.709 seconds.   The top three riders finished a double clear round. Taylor Land and For Edition placed as runner-up, while Alise Oken and Iraola del Maset completed the stage. The top five was completed by - yet again -  Taylor Alexander with Ryanair de Riverland after one jumping fault in 34.05 seconds. Adrienne Sternlicht and Helios placed fifth.
