At the Thunderbird Showpark in Langely, BC, Canada it was the $15,000 Grand Prix that drew the attention. A total of 19 horse-rider combinations took the start. Andrea Strain and Djakarta took home the win, leaving Megan Hilton and Washington in a second place. Laura-Jane Tidball and Cairo finished third. With her win Andrea took home 4,700 CAD. Julia Stanley (Karamell) and Lindsey Fletcher (William L) completed the top five.
While her daughter is competing in Europe with her boyfriend Manuel Anon. Cara Anthony set the bar at home, finishing sixth with Ayma de la Demi Lune.
In the 1.30m class it was one of Canada's winners taking home the win. Kimberley Tackaberry and Sophie proved to be the best in the class. A total of 23 horse-rider combinations took the start in the class. Katie Kraft and Corofelio followed Tackaberry in a second place. Third spot was for Justine Annandale with Top of the Pack.
In the 1.25m Susan Latiff and Le Grand Star finished first. Andrea Strain and Caprice did the same in the 1.15m class.
