Before the famous Derby of Lummen starts there was a CSI5* Stephex price. This was ridden on a hight of 1.50m, there were five combinations that got through to the jump off. The fastest among them was the Irishmen Anthony Condon, he rode with Balzac (by Oklund) a fast round in 45.08 seconds.
The second place was for the Swedish Angelie Von Essen, she got four faults in a time of 44.54 seconds. She had under her saddle Bydalens Qamaieu de Montsec (by For Pleasure). The top three was completed by Juan Carlos Garcia with Gitano V Berkenbroeck (by Nabab de Reve) got a total of eight faults in a time of 43.88 seconds.
