Bart Clarys tops the CSI2* Lier Grand Prix

Belgium's show jumping rider, Bart Clarys took a splendid start of the outdoor season. Clarys speeded to victory in the 1.45 CSI2* Flandria Rent Grand Prix in Lier. Aboard the 9-year-old Joie de Toulon (f. Toulon) Clarys set a clear jump-off time in 40.65 seconds. Luxembourg show jumping rider, Christian Weier followed as runner-up with Global (f. Nabab de Reve) after a finish in 40.84 seconds, staying ahead one second on Great-Britain's Georgia Tame with Z7 Cordanos (f. Catoki). Dutch rider, Sjaak Sleiderink already won the 7-year-old Finals and now placed outside the stage with Astakkato (f. Stakkato) under the saddle. The top five was completed by Alexis Borrin with Ruby de la Fosse. Aniek Diks wins onestar Grand Prix The CSI1* Grand Prix was set at a height of 1.25m. In this class it was Dutch show jumping rider, Aniek Diks who claimed victory aboard Alieone. With over one second difference Amr Gamal Mohamed followed with My Queen in second. Belgium's Marthe Van Gorp completed the stage with Mellifluous.
