This evening in Geneva it was all about the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final. In this special course it was the elite of the elite who competed against eachother in a Longines Ranking 1m60 course. It was all about the honor as the big prize money of 430.000 CHF. All riders had to competed two rounds with their horse. With the worlds finest riders competing it was gonna be for sure a show to watch. After the first round five riders were still clear. But all ten riders needed to compete again in the second round. In the end it was Canadian rider Eric Lamaze and his Olympic mare Fine Lady 5 (f. Forsyth FRH) who took home the honor and victory in this special show. The pair showed incredible partnership and they seemed to fly over the jumps. In only 42.56 seconds he finished this course. It became the impossible time to beat. Christian Ahlamnn came closest with the Dutch bred horse Taloubet Z (f. Galoubet A). Together they also rode a fenomenal round in a time of 43.05 seconds. The last combination who kept a clear round is Swiss's favorite Steve Guerdat. Tonight he saddled the ten year old gelding Corbinian (f. Cornet Obolensky) with whom he spectacurly finished in a third place with only 44.30 seconds on the clock. The top five was then followed by Kevin Staut and his Reveur de Hurtebise HDC (f. Kashmir van Schuttershof) who ended up with four penalties. The same happend to his partner in crime Penelope Leprevost and her Vagebond de le Pomme (f. Vigo d'Asouilles) who finished in fifth place.
