At the international show in Roeser it were the neighbouring country man from Belgium who dominated the classes. In the 1.45m 3-star event a total of 5 belgian combinations coloured the top seven. Victory was however for Swiss Niklaus Rutschi and the 11-years-old Earl Prey's Carh CH (by Caretino). Dutch Albert Zoer and the 9-year-old Belgian Warmbred ensured the second place. Then the platoon of Belgian horse-rider combinations followed, with in the lead, Jos Verlooy and the Vigo d'Arsouilles-son Farfelu de la Pomme. The top five was completed by Karel Cox and his new ride, Cor van de Wateringhoeve (by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) in fourth. Dominique Joassin and Best of Opus Dei Z made it to the fifth place.
