While the five-star riders prepared for today's Nations Cup, the CSI2* 1.35m-class was conquered by the Belgian horse-rider combinations at the 'Longines Spring Classic of Flanders'. Setting the time in 56.90 seconds, Marie Bonet and Gamine (by Clearway) took home the win. A total of five Belgian combinations followed this winner pair. Horse and rider had to make it fast as 39 out of the 60 starters finished faultless. Kim Colaers and the 8 year old C. Amelusina R20 finished second. They were followed by Bart Clarys and Best Mix Evana (by Querlybet). The top five was completed by Steven Van Meersche (Foxy Lady) and STX-lady, Zoe Conter (Fusager S Acordelia). Best non-Belgian combination in the top ten was Swedish Petronella Andersson and the 12-years-old Webalia G (by Manhattan).
