Belgians wide awake in morning class at CSI Twente

In this mornings rainy Paardenkliniek De Watermolen Prize it were the Belgian riders that have proven to get out of bed with great power for a day of showjumping at CSI Twente. During the CSI3* competition over a height of 1.45 is was Belgian rider Thierry  Goffinet who speed-ed to victory with colleague  Constant  Van Paesschen folllowing on second place. Goffinet entered the 10 man jump-off as first rider  with his stallion Navarro UK (v. Darco)  and was spot on the clock with his speeday round of 37.93 seconds. Even the always fast Van Peasschen had to give way this morning and followed nearly one second later with Casall offspring Compadre Van De Helle.  Dutch juggernaut Alber Zoer and Heechhiem´s Cancun Vdm just missed out on the third spot by finishing 0.19 seconds later then German rider Philip  Rüping and Carlsson 41  (v. Carpalo). Local rider Remco Been and Songe Bleu Des Vatys (v. Mr. Blue) give the home crowd a good ride by finishing off with a top five spot after a clear round in . Go here to view all the results.
