Belgium's Gudrun Patteet wins Championat of Dortmund (VIDEO)

Belgium’s Gudrun Patteet won Saturday’s Championat of Dortmund presented by Signal Iduna. Riding the 10-year-old stallion Sea Coast Pebbles Z (Picasso Z x Flamenco de Semilly), Patteet had 0.71 seconds down to Germany’s own Tim Rieskamp-Gödeking on Corvin (Contendro I x Athletico) in the jump-off. Runner-up Tim Rieskamp-Gödeking was not too sad about missing out on the win, and laughed saying: “She sits in a Ferrari” – referring to Patteet’s partner Sea Coast Pebbles Z. Third place in this 1.50 Longines Ranking class went to Netherland’s Marc Houtzager on Sterrehof`s Baccarat (Padinus x Silvio I), who followed two seconds behind Patteet. On Friday, the 1.50 Longines Ranking class Preis von Nordrhein-Westfalen was won by home rider Jasper Kools on Chatto (Chacco-Blue x Alexis). It was an all German podium in the competition as Denis Nielsen followed in second and Markus Brinkmann in third. http://youtu.be/4pv5oO3n814
