Ben Maher takes the lead

A new international combination take the lead in FEI’s World rankings in Combinations in Jumping. The incredible mare Cella, owned by Jane Forbes Clark, and Britain’s Ben Maher have been named 2013’s best combination in jumping, according to the FEI’s ranking. The British rider and the Belgian bred mare picked up 1718 points, leaving Germany’s Ludger Beerbaum and Chaman in second place with 1675 points. The third best combination is 2012 Olympic gold medal combination Scott Brash and Hello Sanctos, owned by Lord & Lady Harris and Lord & Lady Kirkham, with 1620 points. The United States rider Kent Farrington and Blue Angel sit in fourth place with 1491 points while reigning German Champion combintion Daniel Deusser and Cornet D’Amour, owned by Double H Farms and Stephex Stables, sit in fifth position with 1463 points after an incredible 2013 season.
