Ben Maher wins the Grand Prix in Vilamoura

Today Ben Maher (GBR) won the 1.45/1.50m Grand Prix in Vilamoura, Portugal. Riding the 9 year old mare Diva II (by Kannan) , Maher had the fastest clear round in the jump-off, crossing the finish line with a time of 35.55 seconds. In second place was Swiss rider Pius Schwizer and Baros (by Casco) who finished with a time of 36.53 seconds. British veteran John Whitaker completed the podium with Woulon L (by Toulon), who were just over a second slower than Maher (36.96 seconds).
