Bertram Allen victorious in Monaco

In Monaco, the second 5* star class has just ended. The 'Prix Massimo Duti' was a 1.55m class with jump-off. Once again the young Irish rider Bertram Allen showed he is one of the fastest riders in showjumping. He and his mare Molly Malone V (Kannan) were the fastest in a jump-off with 13 combinations. Allen and Molly finished clear in 34,56 seconds, only a little bit faster than the Belgian Jérome Guery. He and Alicante (Casall) rushed through the course, but eventually his 34,64 seconds weren't enough to take the victory. The podium was completed by David Will. The German rider rode his gelding Cento du Rouet (Balou du Rouet) to the finish line in 34,74 seconds. Fourth place was for Belgium again. Pieter Devos and Apart (Larino) rode a clear jump-off and finished in 36,36 seconds. The top 5 was completed by Christina Lieberr. She speeded through the course as well and finished clear in 37,11 seconds. Click here for the results
