The Irish always do well on home crowd, and this year is no exception. So far they have won eight out of nine international classes, including the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup. Today Billy Twomey added to the string of victories when he won the accumulator class. This class includes a joker fence as the last jump and many riders fell victim to it. Last to go, Twomey was aboard the 11 year old stallion Ardcolum Duke ( x Gypsy Duke) and blitzed the competition with an unbeatable time of 48.94 seconds on the clock while scoring the maximum 65 points. Dutch rider Johnny Pals led the class until the very end with the 11 gelding Urjul van Generhese ( x Bon Ami), before the lead was snatched by Twomey.
