Bisharat and Hamcho take the lead in CSI3* Dubai

This weekend you can follow the CSI3* in Dubai. They started today with the first international class. The victory here was for the Jordanian Ibrahim Hani Bisharat. He rote with his 9 year old gelding Virus (by Linton) clear around the jump-off in 38.64 seconds. The combination were in December already second in the CSI2* in Roosendaal (NED). The second place was for the German rider David Will. He jumped with Cassandro (by Casall Ask) and stopped the timer in 41.29 seconds. The top three was completed by Salim Khamis Al Suwaidi who rides for his home audience. He was with Feline S (v. Zapateado) a few hundredth of seconds slower in 41.64 seconds. Luis Jesús Escobar and Jean Francois Rondoux came into fourth and fifth place. Escobar rode with Qualidam (by Quality Touch Z) clear in 43.99 seconds. Rondoux rode Triomphe de Riverland (by Cornet Obolensky) around the jump-off in 44.05 seconds. Click here for all the results.  In the second competition of the day there were only nine combination to go through to the second round of this two-phases course. From those nine there were only four who remained clear in the second round. It was the Syrian rider Ahmad Saber Hamcho. He rode the second round with Quintus 81 (v. Quick Star)  in a time of 39.20 seconds. The second place was for the Colombian Andres Penalosa. He rode with the 10-year old gelding Tintin de la Pomme (v. Diamant de Semilly) a double clear in 40.45 seconds. He was followed by Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi. He rode with the Zangersheide Stallion Citronello Z (v. Campus) and stopped the chrono in 44.35 seconds. Abdelkarim Abbar was the last clear rider and went through the finish in 45.15 seconds. He rode the horse Cayen van het Hobos (v. Cornet Obolensky) for Saudi Arabia. The top five was completed by Alice Debany Clero for the states with her horse Amareusa S (v. Baloubet du Rouet) in a time of 38.15 seconds and 4 faults.
