Last week Spruce Meadows said farewell to the winter and is now ready to welcome spring. The Spring Welcome Tournament welcomes horses and riders to the Spruce Meadows Equi-Plex. Competitions in this Tournament range in height from 0.70m to 1.40m. The Spring Welcome is the perfect tournament to experience competition up-close and in the indoor comfort of the Equi-Plex. Brenda riddell and Dutch amouretta completed the stage. Lorrie Jamieson (KVF Zeno) took a risk to set the fastest time. The pair finished in 45.09 seconds, but had two jumping faults along the way, resulting in a fourth place. In the final day's 1.20m clas Carolyn Anderson and the 11-year-old Holstein-horse, Little Landgraf (by Lasino) took home the win. Seven out of the 23 starters returned for the jump-off.
