Christian Ahlmann is the German Master

German rider Christian Ahlmann delighted the home crowd at the CSI5* show in Stuttgart today when he became the German master. Riding the 12 year old stallion Colorit ( x Coriano x Capitol I), Ahlmann sped around the tricky course with ease, leaving all the jumps up in a time of 33.06 seconds. British legend John Whitaker tried his best to beat Ahlmann's time but had to settle for second place with the 10 year old mare Ornellaia. Alexander Hinz, also from Germany finished in third place with the slowest clear round in the jump-off. Kevin Staut and Douglas Lindelow finished in fourth and fifth place respectively. As the winner, Ahlmann drove away in a brand new Mercedes ; the title sponsor of the Stuttgart German Masters. FULL RESULTS Photo : Christian Ahlmann ©Equnews.fr
