Clear British victory in today's main class Vilamoura

In the Portuguese Vilamoura, the main class of the evening has just ended. It was a 1,45m class, where 80 combinations battled it out against each other and against the clock. In the end, the victory went to the British rider Phillip Spivey. He and his AES mare Darya I Nur (f. Diamant de Semilly) jumped a clear round in 54,14 seconds. The second place went to France. With his Soleil de Cornu (f. Qredo de Paulstra), Julien Gonin jumped a clear round in 55,19 seconds. The Brazilian rider Felipe Ramos completed the top five with his KWPN gelding Zenzero. This 13-year old Kashmir van Schuttershof son jumped a clear round in 55,71 seconds. The fifth place went to a KWPN gelding as well. Marc Bettinger jumped a clear round with Barino (f. Larino); finishing in 56,42 seconds. With this time he was slower than another German rider, Marcel Marschall. Marschall and his BWP mare Fenia Van Klapscheut (f.
