CSI Asten: Dutchies on top in Longines ranking class

At the CSI2* competition in Asten, the highlight of the evening was the Longines Ranking class. With fences built up to 1,45m, 71 combinations entered the show ring. A jump-off with thirteen riders had to decide about tonights winner. And in that jump-off, the Dutch riders ruled the show! Leon Thijssen was the fastest with Captain Cooper (Namelus R). This Dutch combination jumped a clear jump-off and finished in 30,58 seconds. Second place was for Joy Lammers. She rode her Oklund mare Zomerfee Van de Broekkant in 31,31 to the finish line. Malin Parmier was the only non-Dutch rider in the top seven. With Hockney (Baloubet du Rouet) under the saddle, she rode to third place in 31,34 seconds. Fourth place went to Lennard de Boer and Durango VDL. They left the wood untouched and finished in 31,79 seconds. Patrick Lemmen and Ideaal completed the top five. Click here for the results
