CSI Helsinki: Romain Duguet takes home the World Cup

This afternoon in Helsinki, all eyes were on the second World Cup of the season. With 36 combinations at the start, it promised to be an exciting competition. Fifteen riders managed to jump a clear first round and came back for the jump-off. In that jump-off, it was Romain Duguet who rode to the victory with Quorida de Treho (Kannan). He jumped a clear round in 30,96 seconds. With this time, he was almost two seconds faster than Mathieu Billot who ended on second spot. Billot rode Shiva d'Amaury (For Pleasure) in 32,70 seconds to the finish line. The top three was completed by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. Her Comanche (Coupe de Coeur 2) kept the wood untouched and finished in 32,78 seconds. Pieter Devos ended on fourth place with Dream of India Greenfield. He jumped a clear round in 32,92 seconds. Steve Guerdat and Bianca (Balou du Rouet) completed the top five. Click here for the results
