In the RAI building in Amsterdam, the first jumping competition of the day has just ended. 47 combinations started in this class and battled it out against each other and against the clock. It immediately became very clear that the riders had to go very fast to take the victory. The German rider Felix Hassmann was the ninth rider to enter the show ring with his SI Brazonado (f. SI Baluarte) and immediately went fast as lightening. Hassmann rode his 12-year old gelding in 56,15 seconds to the finish line. This was enough to take the victory. No other combination managed to do better. The Dutch rider Sander Geerink came very close with his KWPN horse Bentley N. (f. Numero Uno). But in the end their time of 56,50 seconds wasn't enough to take the victory. Eventually they ended on second place. The third place went to The Netherlands as well. Ruben Romp rode his BWP mare Happy in 56,91 seconds to the finish line, not touching a fence. The young Dutch lady rider Sanne Thijssen ended on fourth place. With It's Me (f. Cicero Z) under the saddle, she left the wood untouched and finished in 57,58 seconds. Patrice Delaveau completed the top five with his Carinjo HDC (f. Cascavelle). Click here for all results
