It was a thrilling 1.60m Longines Grand Prix in Paris today. With a total of 12 combinations at the start of the Jump-off a total of seven pairs finished the second round faultless. the first clear ride was set by Jos Verlooy in the saddle of the Casall-son, Caracas. Eventually Verlooy had to be satisfied with a sixth spot. It was Daniel Deusser who took the spoils aboard Cornet d'Amour. Together with the 14-year-old Cornet Obolensky-son, Deusser made a clear finish in 37.95 seconds. France's Simon Delestre followed as runner-up for the home crowd. In the saddle of Hermes Ryan (by Hugo Gesmeray), Delestre made it a clear finish in 38.08 seconds. USA's Lauren Hough placed third aboard the 13-year-old Ohlala (by Orlando). Just outside the stage, Pénélope Leprévost and Maikel van der Vleuten completed the top five. Leprévost placed fourth with the 12-year-old sBs-sire, Vagabond de la Pomme (by Vigo d'Arsouilles). For Dutch show jumping rider, van der Vleuten and Salomon (by Stolzenberg) there was a fifth place. Deusser won 99.000 euro with his first place. Click here for the results
