Daniel Deusser wins World Cup of Lyon

In Lyon, a beautiful international weekend was concluded with the World Cup. 40 combinations entered the show ring for this 1,60m class and eight of them jumped a clear first round. A jump-off with eight combinations also had to decide about the winner. In that jump-off, everyone went very fast, but in the end it was Daniel Deusser who speeded to victory with Equita van T Zorgvliet (Cassini). This combination was one of the first combinations to enter the ring, but nobody managed to ride faster than 42,93 seconds. Second place was for Romain Duguet. He and Quorida de Treho (Kanna) jumped a clear jump-off in 43,68 seconds. The Italian rider Lorenzo De Luca completed the podium. He and Ensor de Litrange LXII cleared the course in 43,80 seconds. The Irish rider Denis Lynch ended on fourth place with All Star (Argentinus). They left the wood untouched and finished in 44,57 seconds. Olivier Robert completed the top five with Quenelle du Py (Tresor du Recom Ac). Click here for the results
