It was a rainy day in Beervelde, Belgium. The 1.50m CSI3* Grand Prix had to be put on hold due to the rain, people were hiding in the tent, but this all was no limit for some nice top sport. A total of 8 horse-rider combinations placed for the jump off. Aboard Stardust Quinhon (by Calvaro) Delestre finished in 36.67 seconds. Over 2 seconds slower it was Gilles Dunon and his Cumano-mare Wesselina who finished second. The slowest faultless horse-rider combination was Neriske Prinsloo and Effect van den Bischop (by Clinton), placing third. The top five was completed by former Olympic Champion Eric Lamaze. Together with Rosana du Park he took some risky turns. However after the double combination the short turn to the vertical became fatal, resulting in 4 points. With the 34.46 seconds he proved that the turns were effective. Last years winner in Vlamertinge, Dayro Arroyave and Eldorado vh Vijverhof made it to the fifth place in this Grand Prix.
