Today in the 1.50 jump off class in Millstreet, Ireland it was home rider Dermott Lennon who took the win in front of a jubilant Irish Crowd. There were 49 starters in the class with 16 making it to the jump-off. The first round was quite difficult with the faults evenly distributed throughout the track. In the jump-off it was Irish rider Daniel Coyle who laid down the gauntlet to the other riders. He was in the lead after he crossed the finish line with a clear round and a time of 41 seconds with the 10 year old Dutch mare Zuidam. Daniel was in the lead until the very last rider, Dermott Lennon, came in. Lennon and the 14 year old Zangersheide gelding Hallmark Elite finished on a time of 39.26 seconds. Daniel Coyle had to settle for second place while British rider Pippa Allen finished third with the 12 year old Irish Sport Horse gelding Billy Grand with a time of 41.05 seconds. Canadian rider Rebecca McGoldrick finished in fourth place on the 12 year old Irish gelding Cuba Libre with a time of 41.20 seconds. Dermott Lennon dominated the class by finishing in fifth place with the 9 year old Irish mare Calgot Pleasure and a slower time of 42.57 seconds. It was a successful pay day for Dermott Lennon.
