Devin Ryan on top in Bromont's opening class

Devin Ryan (USA) and Eddie Blue (Zirocco Blue VDL x Marlon) won Thursday's CSI3*-W 1.50m $45,000 FEI Open Welcome Québec Original at the 42nd edition of the International Bromont. Getting ahead of Canadian rider Jennifer Serek and her mount Wicked (Eurocommerce Berlin x Diamant de Semilly) by more than three seconds, Devin Ryan & Eddie Blue – an 8-year-old KWPN gelding – dominated as uncontested masters of Belgian course builder Luc Musette’s track. Three American riders followed to complete the Top 5: Alison Robitaille on Serise du Bidou (Gin Tonic Star x Fusain du Defey), Jonathan McCrea on D.Carolus (Tjungske x Calando I) – both double clear –and Andrew Kocher on Virginia W Z (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Indoctro) with four faults in the jump-off.
