Doda de Miranda wins Round 1 of the WEF Challenge Cup

Brazilian rider Alvaro de Miranda won the first round of the WEF Challenge Cup, a $35,000 class sponsored by Ruby et Violette. Aboard AD Nouvelle Europe Z, de Miranda produced a beautiful clear in the first round with the fastest time, which catapulted them into pole position going into the jump-off. In the jump-off many tried and failed to best de Miranda's time of 35.26 seconds, the closest being American rider Laura Kraut and Andretti S, just under a second slower. Kraut's teammate Filip de Wandel finished in third place with Gentley, while Kraut also took fourth place with her second ride Constable. Denise Wilson (USA) completed the top five with Galous.
