At the international CSI3* horseshow in Vilamoura the dutch horses ruled the day in the main classes. Aboard Barino (Larino), Germany's Marc Bettinger set a record time in the 1.45m Qualifier. The pair was ahead of the 33 other Jump-Off combinations after a clear finish in 24.97 seconds. Belgium's Thierry Goffinet followed in the saddle of the KWPN-mare Aliana (Mill Reef VDL) with a small time difference, stopping the clock in 25.09 seconds. Brazil's Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and the KWPN-horse Dienellie (Berlin) completed the stage. The top five was completed by MArcel MArschall and the 12-years-old Belgian Warmblood mare Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z Van Paemel) in fourth and Marc Bettinger with Quincy W (Quinnus II) in fifth. CLICK HERE FOR THE RESULTS Earlier today it was France's Olivier Guillon who claimed victory in the 1.40m class. Together with Talegreto Saint Jean (Allegreto), Guillon took the win in 54.23 seconds. No less than 31 combinations made a clear finish. Great-Britain's Emily Ward placed as runner-up with the 13-years-old KWPN-mare, Witch (Rash R), while Bettinger settled for a third place with Incroyable de Muze (Nabab de Reve).
