As the MET in Oliva, continues, the French flag remains on top. On Friday it was again the tricolor that topped the stage thanks to Edouard Mathe, winning the 1.45m Longines Ranking class. Aboard the 14-year-old stallion Olala de Buissy (Cook du Midour x Laudanum), Mathe was one of the twenty double clear rounds. The pair stopped the clock in 28.02 seconds, as thus taking home the win. Great Britain's Louise Pavitt and Unex Chamberlain Z (by Chellano Z) followed as runner-up after a clear round in 28.39 seconds. Switzerland's Daniel Etter finished third with Kheops du Roset CH (by Kannan). The top five was completed by  Francois Xavier Boudant (Ciento) and Steve Guerdat (Bianca) in fourth and fifth place.
