El Zoghby tales the big win in Al Ain

Egyptian rider Karim el Zoghby has walked away with this week's biggest prize at the CSIO5* show in Al Ain, UAE. El Zoghby and his trusty mare Amelia (Cantos x Numero Uno) won The President Show Jumping Cup in true style, walking away with almost €40,000 in prize money. Twenty two out of fifty competitors made it through to the second round, where they had to contest a big, technical track. El Zoghby laid down the gauntlet and won with 46.67 seconds on the clock. Italian rider Emilio Bicocchi took second place with Ares (Ephebe for Ever x Rebel) while Syrian rider Saber Ahmed Hamcho took third place with Callahan (Contendro x For Pleasure). FULL RESULTS
