Emanuele Gaudiano speeds to victory in Abu Dhabi

Today the 1.60m Grand Prix on the schedule in Abu Dhabi, this morning the five star horse-rider combinations warmed up in the 1.45m Longines Ranking class. Again victory colored Italian. Yesterday Luca Maria Moneta claimed two victories, today it was his compatriot, Emanuele Gaudiano who took the honors. Gaudiano speeded to victory aboard the 9-year-old Chaccomo-daughter, Carlotta. The pair made a clear finish in 52.81 seconds, almost four seconds faster as runner-up, Luca Maria Moneta with his 17-year-old Neptune Brecourt (f. Cavalor Cumano). Switzerland's Janika Sprunger followed in fourth with the Nintender-son, Ninyon. A total of 13 combinations  crossed the finish clear in this class on time. Samantha McIntosch and Anthony Condon followed in a fourth and fifth place.   McIntosch tacked up the 14-year-old Belgian Warmblood-mare, Estina (f. Heartbreaker), while Condon counted on his Zangersheide-gelding, Courtney Z (f. Chellano Z). Click here for the results
