Earlier this evening in Wellington the $8,000 1.45m Open Jumper (II.2b) Douglas Elliman was taken by Eric Lamaze. The Canadian rider claimed victory aboard Chacco Kid (by Chacco Blue) in a brilliant time of 28.746 seconds.

Gracie Allen and Rivage de Lormay took home fourth place , followed by a fifth place for Jorge Matte Capdevila and C'Est Beau.
