The 19 year old stallion Thunder van de Zuuthoeve, sire of many top horses such as Domino, Eldorado van het Vijverhof and Seoul, has been euthanized. Due to an injury he suffered six years ago the stallion slowly deteriorated to the point where he could not get up this morning. The decision was made to euthanize him so as to not let him suffer. Competed by both Jos Lansink and Jan van Dijk, the stallion enjoyed success up until 2008 when, at the age of 14, he suffered from a career ending injury while competing in Lanaken, Belgium.
