Recently USA's top show jumper won 3 classes in Shanghai. At the Global Champions Tour in Hamburg he claimed victory in the speed class, today Farrington did it again, winning the opening class of the CSIO 5* in Rome, Italy. With different horses Farrington wins the one after the other class. This time is was aboard the 10-years-old Cha Cha Cha 7 (by Chacco-Blue). The pair set the time in 26.59 seconds, only 0.2 seconds faster as Alex Duffy and Wrangler II (by Padinus). Cassio Rivetti and the 9-years-old Cassiana speeded to the third place. The top five of this 1.45m class was completed by Italian Emilio Bicocchi with Hialoubet Vassago (by Baloubet du Rouet) and Spain's Eduardo Alvarez Aznar with Top Lulu (by Quidam de Revel). A total of 31 from the 60 starting horse-rider combinations, secured a place for the jump-off. Also Gerco Schröder (Glock's Cognac Champblanc), Douglass Lindelöw (Udermus), Pius Schwizer (Living the Dream) and Jur Vrieling (VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P) kept the wood untouched. Unfortunately they had one time penalty. For SChwizer and the 10 years old Living the Dream (by Toulon) it is a new debute.
