It was an exciting battle between Dutch show jumping rider, Frank Schuttert and Belgium's Gregory Wathelet today in the 1.45/1.50m twostar Grand Prix in Opglabbeek. A total of 64 combinations appeared at the start of this Grand Prix. Only 15 returned for the jump-off in which eleven finished faultless. Dutch show jumping rider Frank Schuttert eventually jumped the shortest time aboard his 9-year-old Casall-daughter, Beautiful Red. The pair crossed the finish in 35.27 seconds and only stayed ahead of Belgium's Gregory Wathelet one hundredth of a second. Wathelet followed as runner-up with his trusted 10-year-old Belgian Warmblood-sire, Iron Man van de Padenboore (by Darco). Maelle Martin completed the stage with the SF-gelding, Tempo du Plix (by Conternno Grande). A trio Dutch show jumpers followed with Vincent Voorn in fourth aboard Explosion (by Applaus). Stefanie van den Brink placed fifth with Baronescha (by Verdi).     Click here for the results
