French riders place themselves in St. Lo

On French ground, a CSI3* competition is being helt this weekend. This afternoon, a 1,40m class with jump-off was scheduled. 82 combinations started in the first round, only 15 of them jumped a clear round and could come back in the jump-off. In that jump-off it was the French rider Thomas Rousseau who took the victory. He rode Urbane De Ribaudiere (L'Arc De Triomphe) in 36,87 seconds to the finish line. With this time he beat Werner Muff who ended on second place with Cosby (Contendro I). This duo jumped a clear round and finished in 39,18 seconds. Jérôme Guery completed the podium. He rode the mare Zoe II (Kannan) clear to the finish line in 40,23 seconds. Roger-Yves Bost ended on fourth place. He saddled Tesway De La Batia (Calvaro) for this job.
