The German rider Philip Rüping and Messenger, a ten-year-old stallion by Montender, just won the Large Tour in Oldenburg. Their victory was a very close call with their time of 33,66 seconds. Cameron Hanley and Quirex (Quirado) just needed 0,08 seconds more and finished second. Nicole Persson and Sagolda (Sandro Boy) came in third for Sweden. For Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and the Westfalian gelding Calle 67 (Carell), the judges noted four penalties in the jump-off. With a lightning fast 33,24 seconds, Michael-Beerbaum managed to finish fourth. Her fellow countryman Christopher Kläsener and Inliner (Iberio) also noted four penalties and came in fifth.
