An amazing and emotional day, that is how we can describe yesterday's CSIO5* in Sopot, Poland. A total of five teams returned in the second round of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Division 2. France, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Russia battled it off with an extra jump-off for France and Germany. In 35.54 seconds, Germany's Andre Thieme and the 12-years-old Prime Time des Vagues finished faultless. However Alexander Fontanelle and the 11-year-old Contherndrix were faster, finishing in 33.26 seconds. Unfortunately for the combination one rail fell down along the course, resulting in four points. This brought Germany the final victory, while France took in the runner-up position. The Belgian team already smiled as their compatriots claimed victory in Sankt Gallen. In Sopot they seemed to be happy with the third spot. Hosting country Poland, finished ex aequo fourth with Russia.
