At the CSI5* Al Shaqab in Doha, the German riders coloured the stage in the 500,000 Euro Grand Prix. Ludger Beerbaum and the 13-year-old Chiara (by Contender) jumped to victory after a clear jump-off finishing in 48.81 seconds. After the two first rounds only five combinations advanced to the final jump-off. Only Beerbaum and Daniel Deusser kept it clear. Together with First Class van Eeckelghem (by Baloubet du Rouet), Deusser followed as runner-up. Christian Ahlmann and Codex One (by Contendro I) set the fastest time after a finish in 47.84 seconds. Unfortunatly for the pair one rail went down, bringing them in a third place. The top five was completed by Luciana Diniz (Fit For Fun 13) and Belgium's Olivier Philippaerts (Zilverstar T).
