Gert-Jan Bruggink tops the Championat of Salzburg

The S. Oliver Championat of Salzburg's win coloured Dutch on Saturday night. It was Gert-Jan Bruggink riding MCB Ulke (by Lux) who was setting the fastest time in the jump-off with 8 horse-rider combinations. A total of 39 pairs took the start in this 1.55m class. First to go in was Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum who set down a clear round on Comanche (by Coupe de Coeur). The pair finished in 42.72 seconds, but Bruggink did better crossing the finish line in 42.25 seconds.

Eventually, Swiss rider Paul Estermann (Lord Pezi x Santander H) finished third on the promising 9-year-old Lord Pepsi with the fastest time of those on four faults. The top five was completed by Yuri Mansur Guerios aboard Babylotte and Clarissa Crotta with Conte Bellini in fourth and fifth.
