The equestrian Equiline Spring 1 Grand Prix in Wellington was claimed by Giavanna Rinaldi. Aboard G.P.S. Brilliant Disquise she was the fastest clear in 39.565 seconds. Set at a height of 1m50 only 10 horse-rider combinations made it to the Jump off, four of them kept the rails untouched in this second round. Cara Raether and Lyonell took in the runner-up position, good for $5,500. The stage was completed by Quentin Judge and HH Calvano. The slowest clear round was made by Canadian student rider Susan Horn and her STX-horse Lillyfee.
